Dalal Hillou (she/hers) is originally from Atlanta, Georgia. Dalal earned her law degree from the American University Washington College of Law and her bachelor’s degrees in International Affairs and Arabic from the University of Georgia. Prior to joining OLRCB, Dalal litigated civil rights and employment cases as an Associate Attorney at David Shaffer Law. Dalal also previously clerked for the Honorable Carol Dalton at the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. Her experiences within the legal and social justice fields have focused on civil rights, human rights, and immigration. In her free time, Dalal enjoys exploring the DC food scene, traveling, and attending cultural events.
