Mary Redfearn is an Executive Level Professional with nearly twenty years of experience in office management and direct support for senior-level officials. She has significant experience in systems administration and other aspects of information technology.
Responsibilities
- Enhances the work of the Executive Official through general assistance and organizational support daily
- Exercises exclusive control over the executive official's appointments, with complete authority over commitments of time
- Coordinates and manages the executive official's schedule
- Coordinates staff assignment{s) in preparation of the Executive Official's meetings with the Mayor's Office, City Administrator's Office, council members, and political and business organizations
- Collects, research, analyzes, prepares, and presents a variety of administrative information and issues
- Makes decisions on urgent and emergency requests, and/or complaints, requesting rapid responses of a sensitive nature which impacts the organization.
- Undertakes and/or participates in special projects, ongoing analyses, investigations, and initiatives that have high priority
- Keeps abreast of changes made in D.C. government and agency policies and procedures, serves as the lead in ensuring that organization procedures and practices to be used by administrative and clerical staff comply, and are aware of changes that affect current practices and procedures.
- May attend meetings with the executive official, as requested.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
